Merino is unmatched as a base layer material because it offers anitbacterial, anitmicrobrial, flame retardant, odor/moisture moisture control, and heat management properties. DNS Alpha has gone even further to meet the demands of its professional users and achieved a more robust product: the combination of 79% merino, 15% polyamide, and 6% elastane make the Alpha Merino significantly more resilient than standard wool. The polyamide reduces typical signs of abrasion when using hook-and-loop, ropes, or webbing. The elastane provides unrestricted freedom of movement. The Alpha Merino is the perfect base layer shirt for winter sports or outdoor missions in cold conditions.
